Great card of racing highlighted by the DeFrancis Dash-GIII 6F, All Along S. at 8.5F (T), and Laurel Turf Cup at 12F (T). Also four other turf sprints stakes at 6F, all for $100K. UIC's nickvito has #7-Creedibility (15-1) in Race 11, the Selima Stakes. Get a good result there buddy!
Currently listed as Fast/Good. A few light showers around, no big deal.
I'll be playing there today, picks to follow if anyone is interested in heeding bad advice .

LRL 3- Alwn1x 5.5F (t)
#2- Jareth (5-1) shipped to WO two weeks ago, faced better, switches to Gonzalez and can sit a nice inside pocket trip. #8- Censure (5-1) is a deep closer, gets tested for class again after a troubled trip last time.

LRL 4th- Laurel Futurity 6F (t) 2yo $100K
Re-branded stakes race tries to reinvent itself as a steppingstone for 2yo turfers. Some of the better “on-paper” horses are trying grass for the first time. Here are three with lawn cred, a resolute slop winner, and one first timer with interesting connections:
#3- Scrap Copper (10-1) dueled every step and prevailed in a sloppy off-the-turf effort, has brilliant work pattern leading in to this.
#5- Veterans Beach (9-2) was a big winner at first asking in Spa debut, interesting that Donk ships down for this. Son of Big Brown is a Generazio homebred. Good vibes.
Not sure what to make of #6- Yowza Yowza Yowza (15-1) but can’t ignore the determined finish to get up in time in a slow-paced turf mile in last.
#12- Market Bubble (7-2) cost $375K at OBS, looked good in June debut at BEL. NY-bred has a future with a nice effort today.
#10- Stole E (8-1) is a $200K FTS from Terranova barn, who excels in these spots. Didn’t come around until SAR was finished, confident spot for a debut. Be aware!

LRL 6th- All Along S. 8.5F (t) $150K
#5- Quick Witted (12-1) appears to relish turf with some cut in it, needs some speed to run at also, can get both of those there. Price compensates for class-jump risk. Win/place bet.
#1- Lift Up (5-1) keeps making forward moves, fits this spot like a glove. Use in exactas over 2,3,5,7,11.

LRL 7th- Laurel Dash 6F (t) $100K
Looking for early speed and class in here. I found:
#2- Snowday (8-1) won this event last year. Had an easy DEL prep, all systems go.
#7- Tombelaine (9-2) repeat of Spa effort would take this down. +All class.

The turf seems very deep and tiring, and it's hard to tell who's going to handle it. Final quarter miles over 26, in sprints! Time to head to the sidelines. That was ugly! At least you get paid if you're right.
