FILLY AND MARE SPRINT
1) OBLIGATORY
2) ECHO ZULU
3) GOODNIGHT OLIVE
We're going with OBLIGATORY to upset. She's always been a top notch filly and since Mott has brought her back, she's been very sharp. Nails the speed. Can't knock ECHO ZULU. All she
does is win. The only negative is her Beyers are light as she's never topped 95, but she'll be right there. GOODNIGHT OLIVE has turned into a beast for Chad Brown. Her and CE CE the
horses to beat.
TURF SPRINT
1) GOLDEN PAL
2) CAZADERO
3) CASA CREED
I hate to put GOLDEN PAL on top as I always look to beat the chalk, but this guy is one of the best turf sprinters I've ever seen. He'll be very short, so he'll be on most tickets but I
will spread a bit in pick 3's in case he gets beat. If the speed duel kills him, two that can pick up the pieces are CAZADERO and CASA Creed. The former has blossomed since put on turf and
the latter is a proven Grade 1 turf miler who can pick up the pieces, shortening up.
DIRT MILE
1) CODY'S WISH
2) CYBERKNIFE
3) LAUREL RIVER
In a very contentious Dirt Mile, CODY'S WISH is the choice. Has really blossomed this year and anything Mott sends out is dangerous. CYBERKNIFE is a top 3 year old and they have performed
very well in this race winning 3 of the last 5. LAUREL CANYON ships in for Baffert after a sharp win in the Pat O'Brien.
FILLY AND MARE TURF
1) TUESDAY
2) NASHWA
3) ABOVE THE CURVE
Going all European here. TUESDAY has been competitive with these and gets a firmer footing which she'll relish. NASHWA and ABOVE THE CURVE also top class Euros. IN ITALIAN is the
best of the Americans and might be this good.
SPRINT
1) JACKIE'S WARRIOR
2) MANNY WAH
3) KIMARI
Again, I hate picking chalk, but this race came up very weak. JACKIES WARRIOR should have his way. MANNY WAH is light on class and Beyers but he's been very sharp in the morning and
his connections are very high on him. KIMARI is a top notch mare who passed on the Filly and Mare sprint for this. Surprising.
MILE
1) IVAR
2) MODERN GAMES
3) DOMESTIC SPENDING
I have a funny feeling IVAR has been aiming for this race. He ran 3rd in it last year and has been nicely handled by high percentage trainer Lobo. Did get beat by MODERN GAMES but he was
bumped and it was only his second race in a year. Was rallying nicely in his prep over the course and picks up Castellano. MODERN GAMES is absolutely the horse to beat. DOMESTIC SPENDING
is shortening up for Chad Brown but he did win his first two career races at 1 mile.
DISTAFF
1) BLUE STRIPE
2) MALATHAAT
3) NEST
In what shapes up as one of the best Distaff races in recent memory, we're going with a longshot. BLUE STRIPE was an Argentine champion when she shipped here last year. Her first race
in this country was last year's Distaff where she was shuffled early and didn't run a lick. Brought back carefully this year, her Beyers are a little light but she has looked the part on the track
and am expecting her to jump up at a price. MALATHAAT is one tough customer and shoule be hard to beat. Taking a stand against NEST. If she beats me at a short price, so be it.
SOCIETY has also been looking sharp in the AM. Wouldn' surprise me if she won.
TURF
1) WAR LIKE GODDESS
2) REBELS ROMANCE
3) NATIONAL PRIDE
WAR LIKE GODDESS passed on the Filly and Mare turf to tak on the boys. She's 5 for 5 at the distance and will be tough to beat. REBEL'S ROMANCE is from the hot Appleby barn and also is
undefeated at the trip. NATIONS PRIDE another top Euro from the Appleby barn.
CLASSIC
Let's just leave it at FLIGHTLINE!! Can be the best horse since Secretariat! If he loses it would be an upset of epic proportions.
Good Luck Steve

Hopefully we hit a decent p6, since I might need it to get back to + if I bomb out again today. Was very aggressive yesterday, and oferred until the last p4 and 10th tri. Good payoffs but only a little more than halfway back.
So——- Race 1—12/4 2–3/6/2/10 3–13/8/1 4–6/8/5/9 5–9/7 6–5/12/11 7–6/5/2 8–4/3/11/13 9–6/4/2/1 10–13/11/7
11–6!
Really like Reagan in 1st Echo Zulu in 3rd High field Princess in 4th Tuesday in 6th Nest in 9th Highland Chief in 10th Epicenter in 11th
Late night partying Slow late start today Sat next to connections of Wonder Wheel and Casse Nice people happy for them Beautiful day hoping for same with better luck!

Very windy here in central KY. That’s expected to continue throughout the day with breezy conditions around 20MPH and gusts 40-50. This should translate into a head win for horses down the backside and tailwind in the stretch run. Could make it appear horses going slower earlier and finishing faster late. I’m more interested in how much water is applied to the track. Not sure it will mean anything to anyone, just something to take note of as can hear the chorus singing of a closing bias already. Small chance of a shower but rain looks to hold off until late in the card if at all but primarily this evening.

Progressive thoughts on the card and best of luck to all today.
Race 1: Arabian Knight is very beatable. He is a high priced Baffert purchase for sure and Baffert does win first out with 2YOs in Cali but that’s not here. Both of his unbeatable 2YOs ran 2nd here yesterday and this one doesn’t have your typical wow Baffert morning drills. He worked well with Laurel River but with the vet scratch was that one 100%? Give me a much better price on the 8 Rocket and Roll for a strong early sire, dam who is 6 for 6 producing and just as strong of connections yet paying $20. Fashion King has every right to improve 2nd out after the slightest of trouble in his debut.
If you want to go with Baffert in race 2, can’t fault you as Messier looks well meant returning to sprinting. I’ll tab Nakatomi a stakes winner over this strip in his 3rd of the year and 2nd off a shorter layoff. Long Range Toddy hasn’t won in a while but his last was against better here and impressive. Freakish good work out of that effort and will be a big price comparatively.
F&M Sprint: I’ll admit I am just a sucker for Obligatory and she is my pick. Nothing not to like as 7f her game and think she gets the setup needed. Using the fav Goodnite Olive for same reasons in multis. For vertical wagers Frank’s Rockette and Echo Zulu in the clear from the outside are of interest. Speed for sure but EZ could just control and clear but 3YOs in this spot historically not the best wager. Frank’s Rockette could sit a perfect trip just off the speed and have first run and hold off closers late. The Japanese filly is hard to ignore given that price with Buick up and their success last year but expecting she’ll be bet down
Turf Sprint: either Golden Pal or Highland Princess win or any one can so think you narrow to those 2, play against both with a few., or use All depending on your budget. GP ultra tough here but Campanelle could be as well. Like a closing Casa Creed for a piece as well as Arrest Me Red. Go Bears Go, the two Applebees both fit for a piece as just a damn tough race. I’ll probably use 3 and hope. No point chasing exotics with a big ticket as can’t ignore many.
Dirt Mile: Speed wins this race at this configuration. That said, give me Pipeline to wire the field and using Cody’s Wish defensively. Gunite in great form but hate the 2 week turnaround after such a big effort. Most likely to ruin my day by not including.

So couldn’t have been more wrong on Arabian Knight. That was impressive…. Expect More one to watch for sure as impressive effort after missing the break
On 2 race 2 and yes no Long Range Toddy so expect Baffert to be odds on again.
The ultimate equipment change for Gunit apparently as well…. Poor guy. Hearing lots of chatter about the 14 as well.
Hearing the crowd boo Baffert after the 1st was something….

Bev, unfortunately I did….. rather heavily. No reason to be that far back as resulted in zero shot. Solid race from Echo Zulu and looking forward to seeing her around 1 turn. Same with Wicked Halo with a great ride coming back quickly in 2 weeks.

I got a rock….. Golden Pal start aside, I didn’t have anything that ran there and a potential good start to the day gone. Good thing they run several more!
All Pipeline here for me over Gunite and Cody’s Wish. Cyberknife the best horse in the race but unsure about this configuration. Of course Cox did just fine here with Knicks Go at this trip…

Boom!!!!! Race 8: Shirl's Speight (edited 12:26pm) Modern Games Kinross Dreamloper Longshot: Ivar Win/Place/Show, Exacta, Tri and Superfecta Pulled myself out for the whole weekend....and then some. (I only played the 0.10 super and 0.50 tri, but still....) and had a w/p/s on Shirl's Speight but did not put a win on the winner, which is fine, he didn't pay anything. 2 . $33.28 $17.36$1.00 Exacta 4/2 $89.46
$0.50 Trifecta 4/2/13 $450.72

R9: Was hoping my Blue Stripe got this, had a w/p on her..... but it was Malaathat.....barely.... 24-1 would have been nice!
Oh just found my "cheap" superfecta, forgot i did that
COMPLETED:7c7a4-584a8 KEE #9 $0.10 Superfecta BX, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 none $12.00
$90.95 + $78.95
COMPLETED:d254c-4df07 KEE #9 $0.10 Superfecta BX, 1, 2, 4, 6 none $2.40
$90.95 + $88.55 OMPLETED:49c3e-95971 KEE #9 $2 Win/Place/Show 2 none $6.00

Cyberknife the best horse in the race but unsure about this configuration. Of course Cox did just fine here with Knicks Go at this trip… that was a smart play, I never warmed up to this horse and have lost $$ by shutting him out..... good pick!
