Hello there....
Does anyone know how the contests like Survival at the Shore work in regards to getting paid? The website stated winners notified by email but I have not heard anything.....I sent an email twice to their customer service asking about protocol with no response..... Thank you for any feedback.....

PonyGirl, I can't tell you about Monmouth Park's procedure, but over the years I have won some cash prizes in other online contests, including some hosted by TVG, NYRA and Sam Houston. Generally the first communication has taken a few days to arrive (yes, I waited impatiently too, thinking it should arrive immediately). The e-mail usually had an IRS Form W-9 attached, which I needed to complete and return to them before they would process the check. Once the process started, the final payment usually arrived in prompt fashion. But, the getting started never seemed to happen as quickly as I would have liked.
I wouldn't be too worried about a lack of response from customer service. They may not be sure who is the one person in the organization who is responsible for processing these matters.
Congrats again on your splendid performance in Survival At The Shore.

Congrats on your fine showing, PonyGirl. I note that their last "live" card was the last day of the contest and while you expect people have responsibilities there beyond the "live" schedule, it may be that nobody gets to this until their next "live" day which is tomorrow. I expect you will hear this weekend. Congrats again!

Lol...what happens if a Canadian wins one of these contests ? In regards to the irs...I won a 123racing contest a few years ago but they were located in briten then and have since expanded to the tracks ....congrats for winning....it takes about four weeks after all is confirmed and the funds sent ...as much as six weeks and even longer ....but six weeks is pretty much a time guide provided you read the rules and are following their procedures....even winning a contest at a track on site will take about a working week to get paid out and perhaps a week more....14 days at a track after winning is confirmed...and then the mail service time etc...that is what happened to folk ...but a nice win it is....

I have not won one but have placed in several. I got 3rd at Santa Anita Survivor contest a few years ago, and it was three or four business days before I got an email, and a couple of weeks later the check came. Good luck Michele. I think you'll hear something by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

Give them a prompt by getting the senior staff in that department via the person responsible for that department under track promotions just to get the ball rolling...that always helps...e-mail them...let them know you are just doing a follow up as to what is happening on their end...and if nothing happens in a reasonable time get a really good ambulance chasing lawyer ...lol...make sure the lawyer is down and out and needs a few drinks to see clearly....lol...

Thank you for the congratulations... The winnings will come in handy for Christmas gifts for the Grandkids..and my washer is on the fritz....haven’t owned a dryer in forever as hung clothes on line or on racks in the house....with all the rain we have had nothing is getting dry....may be time to invest in one....
