I second that thought. Easter reminds me as a child when my Family put on our Sunday best, went to church, and had many friends and kids over for a good old fashioned Easter egg hunt! My Mom would dye the eggs all colors (remember the dye kits?) and we had a huge well kept yard with all kinds of places to hide the eggs. And we had a few plastic eggs that were hidden with a few dollars stuffed inside. Happy Easter UIC!

I just received my order of Cecil B. Demille's silent version (from the 1920's) of King of Kings. I have never seen a Demille silent epic before and am looking forward to it. Have been on a silent movies kick lately having seen Sunrise (d Murneau) and the great City Lights (Chaplin)

Lol....yes....these past years we hide chocolate eggs, rabbits, etc for the hunt and plastic eggs with items in them that kids love...like a Macdonald's card , etc..but we sure did get a lot of fun learning to paint eggs in school as well...was just as much fun as making and giving Valentine's cards up for the girls we were ,or thought we were, in love with, lol...
