WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BREED OF DOG? Mine is the miniature dachshund... and the next time I'm in a place in life
where I can have one, maybe a wire hair. Don't much care for the long hair variety. Always have owned smooth black & tans...

As whomever said, if there are no dogs in heaven, I want to go where they go. I like them all. My 2 1/2 year old is a 3/4 English Golden and 1/4 poodle and as I have shared with gooch, he has been keeping me in shape. If I can figure out how to imbed his picture, I will.

I love them all but if there was only one breed of dog I would want it to be the Labrador Retriever

The Dachshund - by Edward Anthony Because I waddle when I walk, Should this give rise to silly talk That I'm ungainly? What's ungainly? I'm really rather graceful - mainly. The experts have been known to state That there's a twinkle in our gait. One said "They have a clumsy grace," Which after all is no disgrace. My funny features may abound: Short legs, long body, low-to-ground, But I'm about the perfect pal For man or woman, boy or gal. I'm gentle, very playful, kind, I housebreak fast 'cause I'm refined, I'm smart but never sly or foxy - No, do not underrate the dachsie!

Lol...." Shoes " I was watching a twilight zone show, a no of many years ago, in which a person dies, with his hunting dog , while he was trying to rescue him, if I am not mistaken, and finds himself in front of what he thinks is the pearly gates and is refused the entry of his pet so he goes the other way and finds that, in this film, it was hell he would have entered had he not gone the way of his dog and with him....lol..course , the bible does not allow dogs etc into heaven because they are only created for this world...lol...and other creatures...man is what God is concerned with...men & women....lol...we are responsible for all creatures and it appears history says we cannot even be responsible for each other ...even in common every day relationships....lol...as the car poster states, I love my boxer....lol...

We seemed to always have at least one. Two Dalmatians right now, one with limited hearing. Favorite is a Yorkie. Noodle lived 22 years. For me the short lives of large dogs can be hard to take. I'd also like to give a Pharaoh hound another chance.
