What an industry. A contractual impasse between NYRA and TVG/FanDuel will result in the elimination of all NYRA content from TVG/FanDuel wagering platforms effective immediately, the New York Racing Association, Inc., NYRA announced Thursday morning..As a result, pari-mutuel wagering and live video from the ongoing Belmont at the Big A spring/summer meet are not currently available on TVG/FanDuel. www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/nyra-content-no-longer-available-on-tvg-fanduel/

I'm sure TVG does not want to lose the Saratoga signal starting next week. NYRA upper hand in this negotiation?

Yes.. this seems the politics of business shifted once Fan Duel took over TVG...People are going to bet where they want to bet but nothing like a little competition again in the industry between Networks.. Fox and Fan Dual.. I enjoy both but the feeds get delayed if you use an android box for your cable.. I find Fox...a little easier going but fully enjoy the banter with Shrumph, Bray, Weaver. They can make you laugh at times with their subliminal humor. Fox.. although he is a brain, I believe Serling just comes off at times as the most arrogant man on the planet and not sure if he just believes he is right on every race..something like his Derby picks...

DRF.
The New York Racing Association and FanDuel remained at an impasse over a contract for NYRA’s Saratoga signal on the eve of the popular track’s opening day, according to officials with NYRA.
In a statement, Patrick McKenna, NYRA’s vice president of communications, said that no contract had been signed as of late Wednesday afternoon. A previous contract between the two sides allowing FanDuel and its horse racing account-wagering operation, TVG, to stream and offer wagering on NYRA’s races expired on July 1.
McKenna said that as a result of the impasse, “pari-mutuel wagering on the summer meet at Saratoga Race Course will not be available on TVG/FanDuel platforms when the meet opens on Thursday.”

A new contractual agreement has been reached between the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) and FanDuel/TVG, which will allow pari-mutuel wagering on the summer meet at Saratoga Race Course to once again be available on FanDuel/TVG platforms, NYRA said in a release mid-morning on Thursday. www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/nyra-and-fanduel-tvg-agree-to-new-contract/
