The JW Murphy came up as a nice field and a good betting race. I’ll go 4 deep in pick 3’s (4,7,10 and 12) but I’ll be playing Abrumar. I’ve been following him for awhile and he had won 3 in a row before his last. It was a Grade 2 on a good turf and he was caught very wide. I’ll give him a pass and think he runs better today. I love the fact that he gets Irad! Anything above 4-1 would be fair.
Good Luck Steve

I am on this runner as well as far from the easiest of trips in the American Turf on Derby Day. Don’t follow Saffie closely enough to know how he does with runners coming back quickly but would be my only concern. He was hard held early, wide, but gave way in the stretch and retreated fairly easily so it wasn’t like he was hard used.

Saffie 25% on 2nd off the layoff. Irad 33% riding for him. I don’t know what Saffie uses; must be that Baffert juice!😂 Steve
