Anyone wagering on the matches/overall winner? On the Euros a few weeks ago and heard today that the US hasn't won the Cup in Europe in over 20 years (1993).
Also on McIlroy/Olesen in the first round. Match could be over before I'm up, I'd imagine.

Interesting tactics by Bjorn getting his rookies out straight away. I see Thomas getting tanked here without Poulter in the engine room . Morning prediction 3-1 USA

Great call Bev. I was up at 4 to take my wife to the airport, so I got to see or listen to a lot of it. Love the competition.

What a brilliant first day. Bjorn got it all wrong with his opening pairings and then the US imploded in the alternate shot where teamwork is essential. Mickelson and DeChambeau were totally out of sorts and this is a very tough course set up unlike the PGA Tour. You miss the fairway here and it’s a dropped shot or you will hit it in the water as we saw a few times today. Not going to get much sleep this weekend as I plan to watch it from beginning to end but isn’t this what makes sports at this level great. May the best team win !

All this stuff surfacing about the US Ryder Cup team. Reminds me too much of the Steelers.
