Ready for Tampa - Nov. 30

-15 outside with a stiff north wind. Driveway shoveled.

Fresh batch of egg salad made this morning with a little dijon and onion. Loaf of fergasa bread sitting in the breadbox. Couple of Smithwick's chilling in the bar fridge.

Time to work on a Horse Tourney's entry for Tampa and then spend the afternoon with Jason Beem at Tampa.

I'll post here if I have any thoughts. Please do likewise.

Oh and if anyone wants to come over for lunch I'm sure I can scrounge up a few more beers!

Sweezey, was a bomb maker with lightly raced types in days done by, but like all good things, trainers like this lend themselves to becoming shark bait. This runner, by #11 N.A. Sire American Pharoah, has a conditional 68% ITM angle, S + Dropdown at < $6-1, goes for Westbury Stables with an EPS of $3770 and went 10 better than the bullet par at Palm Meadows ten days ago.

Race 3

6 Smarthumor dropped from 5/1 to 9/5 on the last odds change. Ran an indifferent third. Somebody thought they knew something but they were wrong.

Won't make it in time for lunch Keith, but I'd sure love a Smithwick's Ale...my go-to beer at the Spa!

Watched the third race. Noticed that Samuel Camacho, Jr. has joined his brother Samy in the riding colony at Tampa. Their dad works on the backside, too. 80 degrees in Tampa, cold front didn't arrive there yet.

R4- Gotta be against the #5- Veterans Beach (3-2), simply not a 2-turn horse. #2- Papa Jimmy (9-2) drew inside, has some pace, hope he fires off the short break.

Edit- #7 Barahin (12-1) looked really good in the post parade, along with 2,4.
