That was bittersweet, I had the 2 on my Pick 5 ticket, but we didn't have it on the Pick 6 ticket, so I'll take the result.
Now this next one could be the hardest leg, I just want to be live to the Classic and I'm sure I'm not alone in that regard.

So we haven't gotten a bomb home, but we have taken out two favorites, so that's encouraging. If we can get through this, even w/ one of the lower odds horses, we should still set up for a decent return.

Well, the payoff is disappointing: $2,991.00 (not including the 5 of 6's).
We just didn't get the unlikely horse. Even though we beat two favs, all of the other winners were on the moderate and large tickets.
Oh well, sure was fun and we still need to get Flightline home to get the 2,991.00 back.

Congratulations on your project. If I read the results correctly, you will also be receiving a number of consolation payouts for getting 5 out of 6 at $43.24 each. I can't compute how many of those you should have, but out of all of your $1 pick 6 bets, I suspect that many of them had 5 out of 6. That will help reduce the deficit caused by the absence of a bigger priced winner along the journey.

Of all of the tickets you had, 1 had all 6; 6 had the a loser in leg 1 but the other 5 winners; 2 had a loser in leg 2 but 5 other winners; 6 had the loser in leg 3 but 5 other winners; 5 had a loser in leg 4 but 5 other winners; and 5 had a loser in leg 5 but 5 other winners. That adds up to 24 consos. |
