I’m more along these lines trying to take into account others expressed thoughts:
2,6,9/ 4,8,11,13,14 (6 included but not for me)/ 1,4,6,8/ 2,5,7,13/4,6 = $288
My personal play would be
2,9/4,8,13,14/1,6/2,5,7,13/4.5,6 for $120

a few drunken questions... why does the back-up bet have to start within the bc races; why would you pick nest over the 1 malathaat? i think you can safely drop 2 horselets(TM) after wlg and mishriff. and look at the 4th caravel AND ward's best horselet(TM). and why not just pour it all into one huge super high-five? why does it have to be a horizontal wager? HAY-i said i'm DRUNK.

I would play the 60cent p4 starting in R8:
2-4,6,10,11,13 / 1,4,6 / 2-5,7,9 / 1,2,4,6,7
Total: $378
Which means we would have to throw in an additional $20. I would be willing to send it to Bev if this is the route we take.

Is this a gamblimg hedge? Or just a handicapping duplicate without the sprint? If it's a just gambling hedge with no regard to handicapping , then spread in the classic and go pick 4 with no flightline. That's the purer insurance play.

What about
3,4,6,8,9,13/ 1,4,6/2,3,7,11,13/1,2,4,5,6
Won’t please everyone but takes into account some strong opinions for many. Cost would be $315
Or single Flightline for $63 or and expand one entrant in one race for $126
And then backup without for $253
