What's up with the OSU-ND line? Seems high first glance.

Buckeyes are loaded and ready to show off at home. Irish should be very good at least—maybe not a good spot for them, though a huge opportunity.
Loser is eliminated from the championship most likely.
First line I noticed was -16.5, and now -17.5 Untouchable unless you take ND imo

First time I can remember that a 5th ranked teams is a 17.5 point underdog to a 2nd ranked team (or equivalent). On the other hand Ohio State is 3.5-1 to win the national championship and Notre Dame is 40-1. As one who occasionally gambles, I am steering clear of this game. I do like Penn State -3.5 at Purdue though. Penn State has quite a bit more talent though they really under performed last year.

they are only ranked 5th because of tv ratings. notre dame has a new coach, with many players he didnt recruit. ohio st is just the opposite.

Considering what Freeman did with the ND D last season they might hold Ohio to under 17.
"Freeman found immediate success coaching Notre Dame's defense. The Fighting Irish had the 14th-best scoring defense (19.7 points per game) and were sixth in interceptions (15), seventh in sacks (40) and 18th in third-down conversion percentage (32.9) as they went 11-1 during his lone season as DC."

Enjoyed watching FSU beat LSU and Kelly last night. Yes, watched the last 10-15 minutes of that game...crazy, sloppy finish on both sides!

Irish came out tough and punched the buckeyes in the mouth for most of the first half, with OSU losing their stud wr on his first play(fortunately they have 5 more versions on the bench).
2nd half ND was completely shut down, and buckeye strength took over both sides of the line, pretty much dominatińg late.
Georgia and bama looked good………..
