Travers R13:
I know it's a huge step up in class but I can't ignore totally ignore the Cairo Prince/Pioneer of the Nile horse in here....it may be 1/4 too far for him, but on fast track that favors speed, those Cairo Prince's do well at Saratoga, whether on Dirt or Turf. Also the ones that have Curlin as sire or sire's sire or BMS. Then at SAR, you can't ignore the Medaglia D'Oro and Uncle Mo in a pedigree (Thorpedo Anna).
So finally, I am probably only looking at Unmatched Wisdom, Dornoch, Thorpedo Anna and Corporate Power and looks like a good 4 horse exacta box. I will count on Sierra Leone and Fierceness running out of the exacta (trifecta only for them). If Anna looks too keen in the post parade, I will replace her in my exacta box with Sierra Leone.

Race that caught my eye at SAR on 8-29, With Anticipation Stakes R10 SAR. if it stays on Turf.
I like Test Score #3 (6-1) the most.
and/or maybe Cavallo Bay #8 (3-1) in this one
Might play as singles but also maybe cheap exotic box using 3,4,7,9

Gonna play my stable notifcatioins as I have so far lucked out on them last 2 days. I got Ori yesterday in the Winter Memories who ran 2nd at $26.80, and Mangetsu who paid $18.60 to win; then today at Monmouth I'mwishingonastar who won at $17.80 (a Maximus Mischief).
So let's try these:
Monmouth R7: Laconia (4-1)
Churchhill R6: Linebacker (15-1) (homebred)
Churchill Iroquis Stakes 10: (singles or box exacta) Politicallycorrect (6-1) Sandman (6-1) Giocoso (10-1)
Lousiana Downs R7 Super Derby: Carolo Rapido (6-1)

I was actually WEARING a T shirt today that says Happiness is a Choice, talk about hunch bets I should have played (and didn't!) and he just won at Churchill at 14-1 in R9. Dumb dumb dumb as I kick myself. $30.18
Lesson: take a shot when the elbow of the universe sends you a good pick and just ignore the odds and what others think.

Well my "thought I'd look in on racing at a few different US tracks today, based on my stable notifications" did NOT work out well today.
Monmouth R7: Laconia (4-1) Won! (but was chalk)
Churchhill R6: Linebacker (15-1) (homebred) RAN 3rd
Churchill Iroquis Stakes 10: Sandman (6-1) Politicallycorrect (6-1) Giocoso (10-1) Ran 3rd at 24-1 (never underestimate Keith D....can do something with nothing). 3rd against 2 very prohibitive favorites was quite a feat. I have feeling about this one being trained up for the TC races. Guess we will see.
Lousiana Downs R7 Super Derby: Carolo Rapido (6-1) NADA
Woodbine Matron Stakes R6: Sabatini (8-1); Sand and Sea (12-1-) NADA (great odds race including a 43-1 in 3rd place, lowest odds in the super was 5-1.....this one will pay well!!)
