All I can say the fields for Saturday better have more horses entered to race than the stake races on Friday four, six, and seven horse fields in three of the five races. It sure makes it hard to win contests at small fields and odds.

Belmont day has always been one of my favorite days/trips annually, and Belmont Park might be my favorite racing venue.
Limited to 50k this year?
Place will seem somewhat empty.
I have met quite a few UICers up there--enjoyed them all......

One horse I'm going to take a close look at will be Gregorian Chant.(Jaipur) In his last (Twinspires Turf Sprint) inside was not the place to be. Expect better effort Saturday. 3 for 4 at this distance.(6f)(only loss came in this race last year)....should be a good price (at the ML or better)

Looks chalky right now, hoping to spot a fave or two that look vulnerable physically in paddock or post parade and toss.

Chasing Artie had a terrible start in his last(broke way behind field)..has a history of poor starts. BUT...if he breaks well(after that poor start he closed well through the lane in last)..can see him right there at the wire.(should be very square price)
I'd like to be a fly on the wall in the Sadler barn. Met was where their sights were from the beginning....but after the injury....will look to the paddock and post parade for signs.
