Made it to Belmont and was in training but Pletcher didn't like how she was moving so we had her diagnosed across the street. www.vet.cornell.edu/hospitals/cornell-ruffian-equine-specialistsBone bruising it was so on to Fair Hill for 8 weeks in a paddock and then 2 weeks on the water tread mill. Florida this winter with Todd. Looking forward to the next invoice. |

On the van to Pletcher at Palm Beach Downs!
Hooper
As discussed, Bella Romanza ships to Palm Beach Downs this afternoon. She is shipping with Sallee.
She arrived at the end of August after being diagnosed with bone bruising in her left hind cannon bone, sclerosis of her left hind medial sesamoid and a mildly enlarged left hind medial suspensory branch.
She was hand walked and grazed for three weeks and once jogging sound in hand, started round pen turnout for three weeks, followed by paddock turnout for an additional three weeks.
After her time turned out, she started back with three weeks of Aquatred work followed by 30 days of jogging. She started back galloping during the second week of December and has been galloping for two weeks.
She has been sound and very straightforward to be around with no issues.
