might take a shot with Magny Cours at 20-1. Ran a solid 3rd with a wind trip in dubai last year in only dirt try. Tgraph says it's competitive with the what the US horses are running. by Medaglia D'oro out of AP Indy Mare, Indy Five Hundred who is a full to Royal Delta's mom. If I get crazy I'll include TO Keynes, MB, Art collector and the derby winner Mandaloun.

There is a Pick-6 (R 1-2-3-6-7-8) available on the Saudi Cup card, but that seems too ambitious ($$$) with the size of the fields. I'm going to play the Pick-4 (R1-4) and the late Pick-3 (R6-8) hoping for a score.
R1- Neom Turf Cup 10.5F
'A's: #2- Authority (2-1) draws nicely down inside (2), fires when fresh, and is a deserving favorite off his last two races at Tokyo. First time running outside Japan, and not convinced this is his best distance (12F horse).
'B's: #6- Harrovian (12-1) loves 10F, is a very consistent sort, and has been right with Pyledriver and Solid Stone which re-oppose today. A bit wide in post 12. #13- Eudaimonia (12-1) was very impressive at Longchamp with a close third behind Rougir in the Prix de l'Opera (GI), is a deep closer in a field that is not lacking in pace. Drew the rail.
'C's: #5- Grocer Jack (20-1), #8- Passion and Glory (30-1), #9- Pyledriver (3-1) (drew the 14 hole, ugh), #10- Solid Stone (10-1), #12- Ebaiyra (8-1) can all figure in the placings.
TRI- 2/6,9,12,13/5,6,8,9,10,12,13 Result: 2,7,12 Authority ($6.60) lived up to his name, and handled the shorter distance from the lead with aplomb. Triple wager was looking good at the 200m, but Kaspar (88-1) found his best form and got up for second late.
PICK-4- 2,6,9/4,7,8/1,3,9/2,3,4 too expensive, now watch it hit.

Good luck Tom!
Can’t possibly see the pick 6 pool getting big enough to be playable given the field sizes.

R2- 7f 1351 Turf Sprint (Group 3)
Happy Power and Pogo for me.
EX- 4,8/4,7,8,12,14 Result: 14,1,12 Pogo and Happy Power both blazed forward to contest the pace but couldn't sustain it as Songline ($12.00) and Happy Romance took over in the stretch, and were split by the late run from Casa Creed, which would have won in two or three more jumps.

R3- 1m7f Red Sea Turf Handicap (Group 3)
Siskany is the logical favorite, but Skazino is all class and actually had a prep on turf in France three weeks ago.
EX- 3,9/1,2,3,4,9,11 Result: 8,1,9 Stay Foolish ($23.60) made them all look foolish, as Chistophe Lemaire turned off the pace and had plenty left in the stretch, his third straight winner. Hard to come up with that one on paper. Skazino clearly prefers soft ground.

Amr Zedan sadly trying to whitewash the Baffert record. In an unrelated story do you think the Saudi's will ever pay out the winning purse from the 2020 Saudi Cup?

R6-R8 PICK-3:
1,5,9,11/2,3,7/5,6,7,10
Also exacta boxes within each leg with those horses.
R6- Kiefer ran two solid races in Dubai and draws nicely in 2. Consigliere is two-for-two, won the big 2yo mile race in Japan, rider is en feugo today. Pinehurst because he's the American runner. Sovereign Prince has improved rapidly in his last three, don't sleep on him at a price.

Wow, where to start? I liked Emblem Road's PPs, pedigree, and local connections. But then I noticed that jockey Alexis Moreno got off of him to stick with his stablemate Making Miracles, so I used that one. In hindsight, Making Miracles (fourth) wants more distance than he got today (10-12F), whereas the winner was a multiple winner at a mile with every right to stretch out. Clearly some of the leading lights didn't run their races or had traffic/post draw issues, but Country Grammer and Midnight Bourbon both fired but were ground down by the HFTC.
Good for Wiggy Ramos! I can remember betting him at GP back in the 1990s when I first got serious about wagering. He's been quietly carving out a career/living in the kingdom for over twenty years, and now he'll never have to buy a meal ever again...lol. We all like a good underdog story, so there you have it. The crowd was losing their sh&t after the race, and that's without alcohol involved. Party time, Saudi style!

TW I'm with you there Tom.He was one of my favorite longshot jocks.I never saw it.Just did a WPS on Art Collector. He may have had a problem with the surface.Saez broke like a shot but couldn't keep up with the outside speed.Maybe kickback but it didn't look like it.Hey Doc do think he just wasn't good enough?
