This is fantastic. Neil's work is so good. I think great boxing photo's are the best of all sports photos.

Great stuff. I do wish Rocky Marciano was pictured. Next to Ali and maybo Tyson, the best ever in my view.

Mariciano retired before Leifer began working. As to the best it's hard to say, he suffered from not having faced any perceived great opponents (Joe Lewis was way past his prime when he fought him). He beat everyone they put in front of him and couldn't do more than that.
It's somewhat subjective and can be difficult to compare across eras. I personally feel that Ali (Joe Frazier, and George Foreman, were two great measuring sticks and he won 3 of 4 fights against them), in his prime, was the best. Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Joe Lewis, are other heavyweights that are in the discussion IMO

All great points shoes. I guess what I respected the most of the Rock's career was he fought as a heavyweight at about 185 pounds in his prime. Foreman was a beast. Then he made a fortune with his grill. Smart.
