This was the SCREEN ACTORS GUILD logo when I joined in 1991:
After the merger with American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, AFTRA, this became the logo for the new SAG-AFTRA performers union... They paid a graphic designer $130,000 for that?!? 
Looks like an orchestra conductor hailing a cab after a concert
or a dining room maitre d' informing you your table is ready. Awful.
Wonder how much the 1st year graphic arts student got for the KD 148 logo?
