Joe reports that CNN had over 2.8 million viewers in January but as of May 7 it is down to under 800,000. That's about a 70% loss. I have not read anything on the TV about anything bad happening over there. I don't usually tune in there but I do check out what their reporting every now and then. Anybody heard anything?

Fox Network release follows. The three major cable news networks all saw viewership slide in April compared to the same month in 2020. Fox News beat its rivals in primetime and total day viewers, but there were viewership drops across the board, continuing a trend from the first quarter. Fox News averaged 2.24 million viewers in primetime, down 39% from a year earlier, while MSNBC had 1.58 million, down 22%, and CNN was at 1.03 million, down 47%. In the 25-54 demo, Fox News topped with 368,000, down 45%, compared to 276,000 for CNN, down 52%, and 227,000 for MSNBC, a drop of 32%. The figures are from Nielsen. CNN Network release follows. With the Nielsen month ending on Sunday (4/25), CNN ranked #1 in all of cable (not just news) during Dayside in the key demo adults 25-54 in April. The network also surpassed MSNBC in Total Day, throughout key program hours, weekends and on Sunday mornings among adults 25-54 this month. While all the cable news networks are down vs. a year ago due to increased viewership during the coronavirus pandemic outbreak last April, CNN still had its third highest April ratings among total viewers since 1995 (behind 2020 and 2003). And Year-to-Date, CNN is up across the board, while Fox is down. CNN continues to have the youngest audience in cable news in Total Day and prime time and reached the largest cumulative TV audience among both total viewers and adults 25-54 this month. CNN’s digital platforms are also having record numbers, making CNN the most watched and most used news and information brand in the world. cnnpressroom.blogs.cnn.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2021/04/image001-1.png

Does that mean Concha "miss spoke" about the numbers he quoted?

let's face it...having a clown in the white house for the last 4 years was great for ratings...not surprising that current ratings are down for the cable news networks. www.cnn.com/2021/05/10/politics/donald-NO POLITICS -medina-spirit/index.html

I spend most of my time in Ohio, Florida and Texas( these areas are majority conservative, wanting to live their lives without govt control) with side trips to NY and S.Cal big races(used to--may never go back to that) and trips to nature parks.
It is a divided country—-most of my friends and family lean to conservatism(the term “republican” or “democrat” doesn’t have much meaning any more). Many of my racing friends are left-leaning. A large number refused to accept the last election—should it surprise anyone that a large number won’t accept the recent election?
The only Fox News that I watch is Hume, Cavuto, Baer, Wallace and the hilarious Greg Gutfeld show lol. No CNN any more. NO POLITICS's term is already unraveling imo. China, Russia, Iran and the Palestinians are smelling it. People need to return to the job of their choosing for self-reliance. Maybe people/economy would be better served by paying people to work instead of being paid not to work? COVID can only be a convenient excuse for so long. Time is up. The mortgage of our country will eventually become due..,.
Most want a clean, safe orderly honest world for their family and environment. Don’t you want the same? It won't come from our current political situation imo.

I don't see how anyone can view a pathological liar who cheated with a hooker while his wife was pregnant as anything but a loser. It really saddens me to see my friend spider on the wrong side of this. Every president had their faults, including the current one. But NOBODY failed as miserably as Drump. Gutfield? Wow. I read somewhere that Gutfeld is insanely jealous over Bill Maher and his Real Time show. I just hope that spider hasn't sent money to the grifter. But I think spider is smarter than that. Ok, no more politic chatter from me!

lol spank--was not a NO POLITICS fan at any time, though I liked the way that the country worked during his term(especially while fighting for legitimacy throughout). Very disappointed with the coddled, sheltered NO POLITICS, with the most dangerous part discovering how useless and incompetent his VP has turned out to be(makes Pence look so much better). The NO POLITICS remain a non-factor.
I can't imagine NO POLITICS running again----has to be many much better options. I do know that Florida and Texas are operating very well(just look at the #s moving from NY and Cal to those states).
Our govt(all parties) has allowed COVID to seriously alter our economic future, far more than necessary. Maybe time to purchase all of the real estate and material possessions desired and possible, since your cash will be worth significantly less down the road.
Try Gutfeld some evening---much more humorous than what has become of SNL.
good luck down there---Cowboys, Texans, Rockets and Mavs are toast

I'll agree the Rockets, Mavs, and the hockey teams suck but my Cowboys just may surprise ya spider. Should win the NFC East.
I watch Gutfeld occasionally but it just doesn't offer anything I enjoy. Haven't watched SNL in years! Saturday Night LiVE used to be the hottest ticket in NYC I hear. Can't believe I'm typing this but I see Liz Chaney in a whole different light now. Took some serious guts to say what she said. Pence for President spider? Interesting comment on cash being worth less...

Pence would be better than NO POLITICS or what we have, though probably not my top choice. NO POLITICS won’t win again—a second try should be beyond his range.
Try the new gutfeld show M-F evenings Don’t know anything about, Liz—-not overly bothered by what she said either... NO POLITICS need to promote the NO POLITICS actions while distancing from the person—though they aren’t that smart yet suicidal imo.
Who will qb the Texans? How long will the cowboy’s coach last? How long will Zeke last?

I may be a bit optimistic but I think Zeke will have a good year, maybe his best with some defensive help now. Mike McCarthy as a coach is just another stupid coaching choice that Jerry Jones made. Make no mistake, Jones does the hiring and firing. What can ya do when your coach is an idiot that listens to nobody? When he bought the Cowboys he said he would control everything. "From socks to jocks". Firing Jimmy Johnson was the beginning of the downfall.
The QB situation is a bit muddled right now. Texans have added a couple of QB's to the roster, nobody of any accomplishments. J
