HOUSTON — Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale is once again putting his money where his mouth is by betting on the University of Houston men's basketball team to win the NCAA Championship. The Gallery Furniture owner placed a $1 million bet with DraftKings on UH at 9-1 to win it all. If Houston wins, McIngvale will ring in $9 million big ones.
Per Darren Rovell of The Action Network, Mattress Mack said he flew on his plane from Houston to Denver on Friday night in order to place the $1 million bet on the Cougars on the DraftKings mobile betting app, and then flew back home. Mattress Mack had to fly out of Texas since mobile sports betting is not legal in the state.

Much to the Mattress King's chagrin, the Baylor Bears are putting a serious hurt on the Houston Cougars in the 1st half of their final 4 game. I suspect the Zags will do the same to the Bruins later in the day. If all goes as expected today, we will have a great final game between the Zags and the Bears on Monday. Go Zags.

Sorry I didn't mean to ruin the Tourney final for you.
I figured most would be doing what I am doing...multitasking...basketball on the Telly and racing on the computer.

There were some great games in the last Final Four, but that ranks right up there with any.

I imagine Bill Walton was flipping out when that buzzer-beater beat his Bruins. I loved watching the Walton led Bruins back in the day. Those Bruin teams were as good as it got imo.

got it right Saturday, so going in tonight... Waited for the line to change--never did Taking BAYLOR +4.5 and UNDER 159.5 small wagers just keep it close...———— ——— LATE CHANGE Switching sides to GONZAGA -4.5 Baylor looked tense and small in the intro 30-0 for a reason? ? Why go against that?? Staying with UNDER

Appears the Zags bounced off the big effort Saturday.

Bad last minute read on my part---blowout from the start throughout Baylor came in off of an impressive thrashing of local rival Houston, and continued. For some reason I didnt connect that they were coached by Scott Drew(been there 18 years?). Strong smart coaching family that I would rate above Mark Few. Yes--Zags D was exposed by UCLA, and that trend continued last night. Baylor hitting first five 3s set the tone.
At least I equalized with the UNDER, and was tempted to make that a much larger play. Didn't increase--was a winner but a nail-biter until the buzzer.
Another exciting NCAA tourney--always the highlight of early spring!

That was ugly for the Zags. They were never in it. Lost the opening jump ball and never recovered. They were mauled by the Bears throughout the entire game. To be honest, Baylor just seemed to want it more. Zags looked dazed and played horribly in all aspects of the game. Free throws, rebounding, shooting, energy and defense...they sucked across the board. They should consider pickle ball . Never heard of pickle ball before last night...must be an American thing?

Gonzaga was totally emotionally drained from Saturday’s game and they looked like they played their title game on Saturday. Taking nothing away from Baylor they were clearly the better team on Monday
