Race 2, #2 Dori's Birdies is sired by one of the most famous horses of all time - sold for $16,000,000.00 as a 2 year old, The Green Monkey (Forestry - Magical Masquerade, by Unbridled),  was sold to Coolmore after an scintillating money contest between Coolmore and the Sheik.  Bev dropped out of the bidding when it reached 3 figures.   This will be the first time I'll see one of his offspring on the track.  The Monkey's career earnings total a whopping $31,965 out of a record of 3/0-0/1. 

Now everyone can now smile knowing that the worst bet you ever made wasn't really that bad.
