I have ridden in equestrian my entire life. Previously I rode in Hunter/Jumpers and traveled throughout the country as well as internationally. My family is full of equestrians so I was basically bred to be an equestrian as well. My mother rode and trained Hunter/Jumpers as well as riding a few races and galloping on the racetrack for over 30 years. My biological father was a jockey as well, and my step-father is Philip D'Amato, a top thoroughbred trainer who has horses stabled across the country. When I turned 16 and was able to get a license on the racetrack, I started working for my fathers stable, first ponying the racehorses, then galloping and working horses before school. When I graduated high school I decided to sell my jumper and gallop on the racetrack early in the mornings and go to college after. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Pre-law this past spring. When thinking about what I wanted to do next, there was nothing but the thought of riding races in my mind. It is my passion and my love for the horses is greater than anything. I am very excited for what is to come and blessed to be able to follow my dream as a jockey.
