Was waiting for Spanky to start a thread on Tom Brady’s magnificent achievement on taking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl at the age of 43 and in his first season there but I guess he’s feeling deflated after yesterday’s result. No doubt he will focus on the three interceptions but let’s face it they were just as good as punts and didn’t affect the outcome. Unbelievable decision by the Packers not to go for it on fourth and goal , down eight points and with two minutes to go. Chiefs are deserved favorites to win the whole enchilada but I’m hopeful that the Bucs stellar defense can come up with more takeaways on Super Bowl Sunday.

We were lucky to have him for 20 years in New England. The rest of the country must be sick of him by now.

"His father is of Irish descent and his mother is of Norwegian-Swedish and Polish ancestry".
You mean Tom is not of Scottish ancestry? What a shock Mr. Hendry! I could have sworn I read here he is a glutton for BBQ Haggis...lol...

I also thought that Green Bay decision was bizarre. They needed a TD either way. If they go for it and are stopped they still have Tampa deep and if they held would presumably get good field position. if they score and 2 points, great, they are tied, if they score and miss the 2, then they still count on the D and now could win with a FG.
As a bettor who had TB plus 3.5 I was loving it, because it assured a cover, but as a fan you just have to shake your head.
Of course then you have Buffalo's inexplicable decisions to keep going for 3 against the team with the best offense in football. I don't think they were winning anyway, but those decisions appeared to really minimize their chances.
