TAM is all 2yos today, with three decent MSW and the 13-horse dirt sprint Sandpiper Stakes. GP runs the Claiming Crown races. FG offers the Pan Zareta S. at 5.5F on the turf. Weather says fast & firm at all three venues.
GP R5- #1- Unaquoi (15-1) finished second in this race last season, Oct. prep was good, throw out most recent try as it came off the turf. Zayas will have to avoid getting shuffled back, then loop the field, but she had the rail last year too. #3- Sweet Yare N Dira (9-2) got her form back over the summer at Woodbine, returns to a track where she's had success, reunites with Paco, lots to like. #4- The Great Kath (20-1) jumped to a higher level once she finally got on the lawn, might be the closest chaser to the expected favorite/pacesetter, could be "speed and tired" or hit the board at a price. #9- Thinkin Cowtown won this event last year, but hasn't looked the same since. #10- Jakarta (8-5) obvious favorite and most likely winner after facing stakes-company much of the year, Saez just needs to break alertly and he's on the engine. #11- Precocious Peach (12-1) is very consistent, runs well after a break, can sit off them and close for a share.
TRI- 10/1,3,4,11/All Result: 10,1,9 Triple $36.35 Was hoping for someone other than 3rd choice in third, but the bet made money when Edgard Zayas made a gutsy dive to the inside to shoot up the rail with Unaquoi and win the headbob for place.
TAM R6- Will try to beat Chad/Gallardo/Klaravich with #5- Double Blessed (4-1). Dini is off to a good start as usual, Mejia regains the mount, and the horse showed a nice kick last time in a minor stakes.
TRI- 5/1,2,7/All Result: 1,7,10 Chad.
GP R7- Maker appears to have them surrounded, but you have to figure out the right one(s). I'll try #2- Artie's Rumor (5-1) with Irad aboard. Won a solid N2X at KEE first-off-the-claim, has worked well since.
TRI- 2/All/4,5,6,9 Result: 10,9dh,4dh High Noon Rider ($113.00!!) stormed home down the middle of the track, getting to the open hole ahead of Irad, who was steadied to last early, then got stymied in deep stretch with nowhere to go.

TAM R8- Some real nice pedigrees on display here. Going to side with #5- Habitus (3-1) for Motion/Centeno. Gets class relief today, regrouped at Fair Hill with four works after dull AW try. Hoping Motion has him sorted out now.
EX- 5/1,2,4,7 Result: 11,5,2 Gallardo wins four in a row with Night Things ($21.60) as favored Habitus broke awkwardly, clipped heels and nearly went down passing the wire the first time, and secured second without ever threatening the winner, who looks like the real deal.
GP R9- Favorite draws the 10-hole, must try to beat her. Let's see if #7- Jabuticaba (5-1) can steal it under Irad. Maybe she can towrope a longshot along for second, doubt she'll hold the m/l odds.
EX- 7/All Result: 5,11,1 2nd choice/favorite. Jabuticaba broke well but didn't try for the lead, came up empty.
TAM R9- Boxing three and hoping they don't get pounded at the windows. #13- Briella (5-1) draws out in the parking lot but has gas. #5- Feeling Mischief (9-2) won by eight at first asking, then held third in KEE N2L, Castanon knows what to do with a sprinter. #6- Wholebodemeister (5-1) drew off in latest (N2L), Camacho takes the live mount.
EXBOX- 5,6,13 Result: 5,10,2 Briella broke like a shot but had nothing left down the lane. Feeling Mischief ($8.00) tracked the pacesetter all the way around, had plenty left in the tank after 1:09.73 for 6F. Daughter of Into Mischief has a future sprinting.

GP R10- #1- Fiya (8-5) had two dirt starts that were okay last year, but when his hooves felt grass for the first time he exploded. GP track record is 53.61, so that might not be in reach, but if he breaks on top look out.
EX- 1/All Result: 1,6,4 Exacta $29.80 Fiya popped right away from the gate and it was over, Saez (5 wins today!) hand rode him to the wire.
TAM R10- #7 Nora Radd (4-1) had high speed first out but was green and tired in the lane. Delgado is a beast off the claim, removes the hood, puts Ferrer (no "a" on the end, Grunder) up, two good works over the track. Anything could be second in this heat.
EX- 7/All Result: 8,10,7 Mott/Gallardo team up with the co-favorite, fifth win on the day for the jockey.
FG R9- #10- A Bit of Both (8-1) seems equally adept dirt or turf, Maker/Geroux, what's not to like? #11- Into Mystic (5-2) led the BC Turf Sprint for a half, only beaten seven by Glass Slippers. This is way easier than chasing Got Stormy and company.
EX- 10,11/4,5,8,10,11
Good luck with your plays today!

Hi Dell, I took a look at Tampa on HT but decided to pass today. Would probably have to beat elk and/or tc anyways, never an easy task.
Tampa does have links to a live race stream. One is a sketchy .asx link through Roberts Communications, the other uses Adobe Flash Player which I don't use anymore. Twinspires shows everything I want to bet on, but obviously we can't show that feed on this thread. Good luck at GP.

Thanks toTW for posting his plays today in sunny Florida. I was following along during another Nor'easter. Winter sucks.
