Not to sound like a sore loser but the NFL has to address the roughing the passer penalty! The KC v Tampa Bay game saw this called twice when a Chiefs defender barely tapped Tom Brady on his helmet. Lord Goodell better watch this. Tom Brady seems to get all the calls, but he has for years no matter where he played. Am I wrong on this? Ok, maybe it is a bit of sour grapes. So I know...bet against Aaron Rogers against the lowly Chicago Bears! 75 / 50 Ticket#:40242511 Nov 29 04:26 PM Internet / -1 Nov 29 03:27 PM NFL STRAIGHT BET [271] Kansas City Chiefs -3½+100 50 / 50 Ticket#:40243595 Nov 29 08:20 PM Internet / -1 Nov 29 06:57 PM NFL STRAIGHT BET [273] Chicago Bears +7½-110 28 / 25

That’s why I don’t watch Pro Football. Too many flags. It’s a joke.

Thanks for the feedback Quick! I do think that during the playoffs and the Super Bowl the refs call a bit differently. Just small subtle calls. You watch college ball quick?

I've had enough of sticky gloves for receivers, replay, the lame group celebrations and letting the qb's throw the ball away.

Last nights game featured a good hard hit to the chest of vulnerable receiver, from the defender's shoulder pad, and Tony Dungy corrected pointed out how it was done in textbook fashion.
Way too much hitting with the head, in the head, for way too long as guys got more and more comfortable with their new super safe helmets.
So while the 'don't touch the QB rule in the head' rule is excessive and changes the game way too much when it extends drives, the idea of these guys being taught to lay off people's heads is a good one. As for protecting quarterbacks, what a pleasure it is to watch Aaron Rodgers control a game inside the pocket, and Russel Wilson outside the pocket. Can't blame the NFL for wanting to keep these guys healthy even at the risk of bogus personal fouls.

Officiating?——sos With so many camera angles today, nfl can’t allow missed calls to go unchallenged and in-corrected imo.
When I read the topic header, I assumed this to be about spanky’s recent wagering choices........

Let's not dump it all on the NFL and Goodell. The NHL all but made it a mortal sin for anyone to even scratch Wayne Gretzky's skate. I might have exaggerated slightly but you get the message.

Give it another 10 years and the NFL will be playing flag football or two hand touch

Spanky, no, I don’t watch college football either. Used to watch pro and college back in the day.
I am and always have been, a KC Chief fan, since they won their first Super Bowl. Last year’s AFC Championship and the Super Bowl were the only games I watched in a long while.Though I do keep up on the Chiefs’ news.
I will watch again if the Chiefs play in the AFC Championship. Health will be the deciding factor for that to happen.

Steelers stay reasonably safe, yet get the worst of the scheduling...... Baltimore gets key players back as of today? Is the craziest yet to come? An empty Super Bowl stadium?

Thanks Bev. However, I was referring to the Chiefs remaining healthy, in that, if they do, they should be in the AFC Championship.
Sorry for the poor sentence structure.
I am in good health (knocking on wood).
Jackie says ‘Hi’ and we both hope you and Christine are well.
