Sometimes you just have to put handicapping aside and go with your hunches. Today's entries have some runners who share a sire and have names that fit perfectly with one another. How can I pick one without the other?
Race 2: Seize the Hay
Race 6: Seize the Day
If either or both of them come in [come to think of it even if they don't], Bev should have some fertile material for his comments. If we are often told to "Carpe Diem" [i.e. seize the day] , should a horse be told to "Carpe Faenum" [i.e. seize the hay] ?

As I've mentioned several times previously, scoring is done by intent, not spelling or race #, etc. TimS70ar posted his pick yesterday in the Alabama Stakes of Swiss Skydiver, but the image he used to express that selection didn't show up in his post on the forum. He posted it subsequently, and I have no worries about it. I let him decide, in fact: keep the $4.30 winner, or scrap it and use the pick over again on some other horse. He chose the former, so that moves him into fifth place overall.
