Bittersweet consolation prize? I played a pick3 tying the Bill Mott in the 6th with Readyforprimetime to all. When Mott's horse closed fast but fell short, I rolled back with a $1 DD 3-all. Need a long shot.
Later add: seems unless I catch a longer priced horse, I'd have been better off betting the 3 to win.

Thanks Doc, and nice job. Colleen and I both wavered on that one, but we talked each other into it after seeing your confident post. EX- 7/All.

Agreed. I don't know conformation that well, but I can read statistics and remember good horses, and American Pharaoh has sired a number of turf winners already including some good ones going short. Also, Al Stall is no dummy, he wouldn't waste a Saratoga start. Stall was the Stable Tour in the Special on July 25th, and he said he was putting her in on the grass. I'm sure he had options. Good, aggressive ride by Lezcano too.
