Hitting Cossayuna tomorrow.First time out this year. One thing for sure is the weather ...well you know.First stretch of +70 temps, have to warm that water up. I only have a 14 foot boat and I have two guests.I guess someone will have to be towed in the rubber raft. Won't be me.I don't want to show up on the 5 0clock news in handcuffs for not following the rules. .Hopefully we can hook up there this year.Might have a lot of free time in August Hope to post some pictures and tell some lies Perhaps if you position diagonally you can meet the restriction. 😉 And BTW, weather was fabulous here today in Western Pa, so should be rather nice for ya tomorrow.

Doc, Jackie and I are going to put our kayaks in at Fort Cassin boat launch at the end of Otter Creek, in Ferrisburgh VT, where it flows into Champlain, early tomorrow morning. Going to fish the river for bass and walleye and whatever else decides to attack our bait!
Jackie mention just yesterday, hooking up with you this summer.
Should be nice tomorrow. The wind has been a beeatch so far this year. Should be ok tomorrow.
I’m sure we’ll have plenty of lies to share tomorrow evening!!
Good luck, and don’t catch ‘em all.

Crushed them.Filled the boat with 5 to 7 pound LMB ,Northern Pike in the teens and a couple Tiger Musky bigger than the boat. Now for the truth.
Steady wind from the north with gusts, more cloudy than sunny.Best move I made was not wearing shorts.I caught a grand total of 3 LMB no size. One other guy about the same and one caught 2 LMB good size 3lb+.After more than eight hours fighting wind and not catching enough fish we decide to call it a day. That's when the starter on my motor decided it didn't want to do this anymore.Headed back to the launch on trolling motor with a battery near dead.Trolling motor can do no more against a stiff wind with dead battery. Some good guys towed us in............ WE HAD A GREAT TIME anyone want to buy a boat water is too cold, little spawn activity, the birds were out ,Eagles and Osprey are fun to watch.

They had some nasty storms run through friday evening.West shore road was blocked by downed trees and power lines.I read a tornado ripped through Wilton, saw many uprooted trees in Saratoga and on the way east.We had to make a couple detours in and out which added to the enjoyment of the day.

Yeah, we spent time taking pictures of the wildlife. Turtles, ospreys, eagles, vultures, etc. Fun day, for sure. At least by catching no fish, Jackie didn’t catch more than me!
