Might be time to throw Genny into the mix. There were a couple of years at Saratoga when Genny Cream Ale ruled the cooler. Maybe late '70s or early '80s. Will have to ask Rap and Duke. We called them “Screamers!” Might be hard to find, but I nominate Kohler, brewed in Erie back in the day and, I understand, brought back in the last few years.

$.63 a 6-pack? Doc you gotta be 20 years older than me. Back in those day's the beer truck drivers would go into the bars on occasion after a deliver, drink a beer and buy one for the house. It was part the "sales" program. The drivers weren't called drivers, they were called "salesmen). They also had an assistant of the truck that did most of the heavy loading but he also got $.25 per case for the returns. I good route could yield close to 100 case returned. Being a driver or an assistant was a dream job for thousands of guys.
