The prize pool:

$50.00 + 2 pending wagers.

The top two finishers at the final table will split the purse 75%//25%, in the form of PayPal funds or site credit. A trophy of dubious value will also be awarded, along with a stylish TBD hat. All other finalists get a $10 wager on the 2019 Kentucky Derby. Best of luck!

The contest:

Players will select one horse in each of the ten mandatory races (and an alternate/if scratched selection). $2 Win/Place payouts ($2 to Win and $2 to Place) will be awarded for the winning horse and second-place finisher. If a player's horse wins, the player collects on both the Win and Place wagers. If a player's horse finishes second, the player collects only on the Place wager. Win Payouts are capped at 20-1 ($42) and Place payouts are capped at 10-1 ($22). (If both of your picks are scratched, you get the post-time favorite.) Top two final payout totals are champion/runner-up. Tie-breaker is your guess as to the highest $2 win payout on the day at TAM. Closest pick is the winner (still tied? coin flip.) Do not duplicate a previous guess.
