Died from brain cancer. Always shows up in drummer mags as one of the best.

As one of those, apparently rare, people whom has neither loved not hated Rush (I am particularly fond of the Roll the Bones album), I agree that Neil was very, very good. RIP.

I never had many opportunities to see Rush. Regret that. DC being so close they were always someplace in that area. If it was midweek that meant I had to deal with work and the pain in the a_s drive to and around DC from north of Baltimore.
I've seen a lot of great drummers and wish I could add Neal.

not much of a Rush fan, however I can see how popular they were + one heck of a drummer, playing the largest drum kit that I have seen. RIP
