"NO POLITICS won overwhelmingly". Egad. Even Sean Spicer isn't that stupid. He lost the popular vote by over 4 million votes. The states that gave him the election-Pa, Mich, Wisc--he won by a total of 77,000 votes. I've never been so overwhelmed.... Hate crime is significantly up. Ever hear of Charlottesville? Pittsburgh? Gun violence is significantly up. Public displays of bigotry by NO POLITICS and their bonehead acolytes are up. Gee, I wonder why? Obama was inherited the worst financial crisis since the depression--a crap sandwich handed to him by the NO POLITICS. That he led us out of it was a triumph of policy. He handed Drumpf a rising economy and a booming stock market, upon which Fatso has gravy trained. Fact: more jobs created in the last two years of Obama than in the first two years of CheetoFace. Drumpf had a Republican Congress for two years and accomplished nothing. When Obama had the Dem Congress he righted the financial ship and gave us health care. When Obama faced a Republican Congress whose stated goal was to undermine him, the gridlock in Washington began. 109 murders this year in Chicago. Opioid epidemic is on the rise nationwide, fueled by NO POLITICS 's big pharma pals. How many cabinet crooks have resigned in disgrace? More to come? 17 different intelligence agencies concluded that Russians hacked the election to benefit NO POLITICS , and you talk of Obama collusion? Cluelessness in not next to Godliness.... This has always been the best place to be, though Drumpf is dismantling democracy as we know it, which could change things. "Police are no longer demonized, while thugs are glorified". Where do you get your news? Wait a minute--I know the answer to that question... Lies, lies, and more damn lies.
Much more material, but it's like giving hand signals to the blind....

Then we might get his views first hand....π€πβ....and ask him to send us a few caps auto grafted as his value on the antiques shows etc will go way up in a foundered years and one does not even need to be a fan or ever have voted for him....π€πΊπΈπ
......our basement is the least serious of our forums since this is just jabber to stimulate folks on a late tonight show...and have a few laughs ...ππ³π

Thinking it over, you might have a point, spanky! My real world life is fine, however I could be having more fun @ uic, particularly in your basement. I was never a member of any Bloodhorse forum though. I have never supported building a wall, though border security seems more important today. How would a few thousand Central Americans go over in Amarillo?
Kee wasnβt very cooperative yesterday, and it is raining steadily now and should last until morning. Much better race card Friday. 3rd race is very interesting. Blue Prize scratched in the feature, headed to the Oaks day card instead.

I agree that the Basement could use something. In sporting news, it's basically baseball season which is a great sport but doesn't seem to get many posts. Football still rules it seems (even though the rules are outta whack). The NFL draft is coming up soon which could be an interesting subject. Maybe an UIC Mock Draft if anyone is interested?

To answer your question spider, Amarillo has it's fair share of folks from who knows where. I think as immigrants cross over many head north landing in the larger cities mostly but here as well.. As Forrest Gump would say, "that's all I have to say about that".
