We were invited as part of the STAR Program, which is run by our friend Laura who also runs the breakfast/workouts show. I did feel awkward, not wearing trousers, but wasn’t going to turn it down. We went in twice, for the allowance race and a MSW.   _IMG_6194.png) TW |

Good for you . I’m surprised as they were very strict in the past . 🙌 Absolutely, and I would turn it down if it were a stakes race. On the other hand, even NYRA Prez David O’Rourke has been grabbing random folks outside the paddock to do the same thing. I applaud it, doing what they can to capture a new, future(read: younger) audience. Also wanted to mention that Maryann LaTour was here again today, she likes showing up and seeing all her racetrack friends once a year. She specifically asked about you Bev, as she hasn’t seen you in a few years. A wonderful day was had by all. TW |
