#1- Leovanni (2-1) carries 3lbs extra for her win in the Queen Mary S. (GII) at Royal Ascot going 5F, and hasn't been seen since. Still the best form on display among these, and 6F could be well within her scope. #2- Betty Clover (12-1) finished well behind Leovanni at Royal Ascot, but came back with a neck-second going 6F in a GIII, and the winner of that subsequently won a GII in France. Don't overlook her.

Really like #9- New Image (9-2) son of Frankel has been progressive as a 4yo, winning at a mile last time out, gets Oisin Murphy aboard today. #12- James McHenry (15-1) has also been progressive this year, wants good ground, trainer Ed Bethell is on an extended roll.

Emily Upjohn just hasn't gotten back to her 3yo & 4yo form, so I can't back her for the win. #3- Queen of the Pride (2-1) is highly progressive for the Gosdens, tends to drop out the back of the field so will need to stay in touch with the leaders over this fast, level ground. #8- You Got to Me (4-1) 3yo Nathaniel filly has progressed beautifully through six starts, wasn't quite ready for the Epsom Oaks but still ran well, took down the Irish Oaks (GI) beating Content last time. Gets 9lbs from older f&m, may go forward if Port Fairy doesn't seize the lead, or can track that one all the way round. Good race!
