 Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund raised a good amount of money yesterday at Saratoga with a jockeys autograph session, and again last night at the harness track with two match races featuring Robbie Davis and daughter Katie. We are going to dinner tonight with smallMac and will wander over to Vapor Nightclub afterwards for the event. Also a silent auction available, if someone wants us to pick up something for the mantle. Should have some photos later on. Former MLB player Jayson Werth, part-owner of Dornoch, is one of the judges. TW |

The event was well publicized this year, and the result was a big turnout, way more than last year...  Tom Durkin, who arrived per usual on his scooter, was the MC. One of the judges was former Philadelphia Phillies player Jayson Werth, who is also part-owner of Dornoch...  Jockey introductions, with last year's champ Jose Ortiz holding the belt. Winner this year was Shane Sellers, in the black t-shirt. That dude can sing...  Crowd shot...  Johnny and Leona Velazquez did a number from Grease...  Only good picture I took all night, and I wasn't drinking. Much. Other than earlier at dinner...
