Half an inch of rain around 4am left the main track starting at Good, off-the-turf unfortunately. No sense chewing it up on day one, no stakes races...  Let's go !!  Tractors harrowed clockwise this morning for the second of two renovation breaks...  Popped into the racing office mid-afternoon to pester SmallMac...  Doctor Disaster is in the house! Jeez, glad I trimmed my nose hairs this morning...  Quiet clubhouse during breakfast...  Decent crowd for opening day, no additional rain...  Kendrick Carmouche in the house!!  We got a picnic table easily at 7am, Doc showed up just after...  TW |
