I'm glad to get him. There was no buyout required if he left on his own. However, if KU wanted to fire him 'without cause' it would have cost them $35 million. Yahoo Story on Calipari to UA

Just saw the Las Vagas line - UConn - -7-1/2 I almost feel I want to lay some on Purdue. I picked Purdue to win it all last year. They lost in the first round against a 16 seed. I'm glad they made it a little further this year. I knew after Saturday that they would have trouble with U Conn. Alabama played one of their best games and it wasn't close in the latter stages. Congrats Bobtail.

I am somewhat shocked that Purdue folded like that. You'll win it next year Tim

Yahoo Story on Calipari to UATim,who is the money behind the Calipari hire? Walton family my first guess. Calipari coached up here at UMass many years ago, good salesman.

John Tyson of the Tyson Chicken family was the first mentioned, but I've also heard Wal-Mart and Jerry Jones are also a part. Tyson owns many different brands and is not limited to chicken.

No problem attracting players with that list of boosters. Their transfer portal will be active in the next month.

No problem attracting players with that list of boosters. Their transfer portal will be active in the next month. It can only get better.... Musselman left exactly Zero players on the roster.

Tim, off topic but is it planting season yet? Yes, we have planted a few soybeans and lots of rice acres. We backed off because of the projected rain coming in....it has now rained over 5 inches and may get some more. May have to replant a few soybeans because of all the rain.
