I'll be rooting for JJ in the 1:20. Both look playable but leaning towards Frankel.

Saudi Derby is a one-turn mile that has had front-running types win the last two years. Bentornato (6-1) should be the speediest if Luis Saez gets a good break. Book'em Danno (4-1) can sit close too under Irad, would love to see Derek Ryan (Musket Man) get a big race win again. I've got Forever Young at 21-1 in Future Book 4, so hoping he does well enough to head on to the UAE Derby so he can earn points for Louisville.
Remake (3-1) is the class of the Dirt Sprint. Finished third in this last year. Skelly (4-1) only knows one way to run, may not come back to the field. Tuz (6-1) is a GIII-winner, has really improved since he returned to sprints. Career best at Meydan in January.
King Gold is listed at 20-1 for the 1351 Turf Sprint, big price for a GI-winning distance specialist. Mysterious Night (4-1) should be double tough off his GII victory at Meydan. I'd like Matilda Picotte (6-1) at the price but she drew widest in PP14. Aguri could drift up from m/l odds, comes in to this off two good Group-race efforts against big fields this winter.
Bolthole (20-1) is definitely worth a win/place bet in the Neom Turf Cup at those odds, Doha races should have him primed for a peak effort. Same goes for Spirit Dancer (20-1) which looked good winning the Bahrain Intl. Trophy two back. Grocer Jack (8-1) could be a factor if Jimmy Jerkens has him back to his 2022 form, which saw him finish a close fifth in this race. Luxembourg (2-1) has to overcome PP13 under Ryan Moore, makes the race more competitive though. The Foxes is priced right at (8-1) but drew well in PP6 and has GII form in the books, don't overlook Andrew Balding's yard which is red-hot right now.
Giavellotto (8-1) could take the Red Sea Turf Handicap, but he's giving weight to some good horses and his one trip to Dubai last year was a flop. Looking elsewhere for the winner. Al Nayyir (8-1) ran Siskany to a head in Dubai last out, Soumillon is happy to ride him again. Big Call (20-1) was fourth in this last year, gets William Buick aboard from a good draw in PP6. Skazino is probably an underlay at 6-1, his best form is on ground that is soft or heavy. Tower of London (3-1) does want good ground for his best, PP12 did Ryan Moore no favors, betting against at that price (or lower.)
In the Saudi Cup, one-turn at 9F out out the chute, Defunded (12-1) is interesting on his American form, but first time PTB Baffert is a big ? Lemon Pop (6-1) has done little wrong in his career (14//10-3-0), drew well in PP3 and could surprise them on his best. Senor Buscador (8-1) may never have a better pace set up than in here, can save ground until Junior finds a seam turning in. Ushba Tesoro (4-1) might face a wide closer's trip, can't leave him out of calculations but not a win bet at that price. HRH Prince Faisal bought a piece of White Abarrio (3-1) and will run in his colors on Saturday, bet Dutrow was not happy to draw PP1 with all that speed perched to his outside, and all the kickback he might have to endure. Irad has his work cut out for him.
Good luck if you bet, and you should!

So, I love a horse. So excuse my gushing. i can't help it. I have for many years, and had waited for him to come over to our TC races but he was nursing some injuries and it never happened. He won a berth in our BC when he won the February Stakes, and didnt come for that either. If he had, we probably would not even be talking about White Abarrio (IMHO) because he would have won the race. While I"m quite sure he would have won at least one of our TC races, or the BCC, I am hoping to see him do something now in Dubai. I've waited a long time and am still sad US race fans did not get to witness him, here on our soil. Lemon Pop (JPN) but bred in KY. son of Lemon Drop Kid who won the Belmont and Travers and a grandson of Kingmambo and Giants Causeway If you know how to read a sire and mare profile, I imagine you might be as iimpressed as I have been: Dosage profile sire side: DP 7-2-25-4-0 (38) DI 1.30 CD 0.32 CMP Mare side Profile 6-8-3-9-7 Sp 14 Stam 16 Index 0.88 Triads 17-20-19 His record is 14 10 3 0. Never even ran 3rd in any race. www.pedigreequery.com/lemon+popLike Zenyatta he was gifted with sprinters speed, though his profile and pedigree is that of a champion router---so he had the speed to win a sprint in his maiden. then the Cattyleyo Sho at a mile----a true killer router that could have easily competed in any of our TC races. He was supposed to come for the Jerome Stakes in 2021 as well, and didn't come over, he would have beat the pants off Capo Kane (who had similarly stellar pedigree) but had Wyner for a trainer pretty much an unknown......anyone else could have made Capo into an magnificent runner.. Those people were clueless about what they had and he was never developed properly. Like I said, I dunno how Lemon Pop's nagging injuries and coming back from those affected him but here is his most recent Champions Cup 1-1/8 on dirt, watch him sprint over from the furtherest outside post --- to get to the front......nobody even Crown Pride could get past him: If you remember Dura Erede with an truly amazing pedigree who ran 2nd to Derma Sotogake in the UAE Derby, and who I was also hoping would come over here but did not......Lemon Pop beat him, too. Dura Erede's pedigree here, so you see why i am impressed by him--- www.pedigreequery.com/dura+eredeANd here is Lemon Pop's February Stakes in Hong Kong, that gained him a berth into our Breeders Cup that he didn't come for: ANd here is Lemon Pop's Cattleya Stakes, when he was only a 2 year old--- which was a win and you're in for our KY Derby for 2021..... ---- and that was the time when he started having a few problems and did not come and the beginning of my hopes on seeing him on U.S. soil were dashed. So I've waited a long time but I guess I will never see him run HERE. But I hope he does well in the Saudi Cup. I'll be rooting for him, and Derma Sotogake as well.....my 2 favorite guys! Well, I also like Defunded so there's that.

Okay the class of the high class euro turfers, just wish Lemom wasn't running on dirt. Criquette Head would have had him on turf.

I saw that Killer Ability was a Deep Impact in the Carrot Farm silks (my favorite!) but he just didn't have any races that pointed him out. TW

R8 that was quite a brillinant ride from Moore on the winner. It wasn't like he had a straight away to make that stretch run, he had to plan it then muscle around other horses to get out there.
