Supposedly very well—headed back to CD soon to begin jogging He may return around first of the year, probably @ Fairgrounds where he has run well and Stall is based. He has the body and pedigree to get better @ 4. Hope so
Our 3yo filly Daisy Jones, made her first start last Wednesday @ CD finishing a very good closing 2nd though we dropped her aggressively in to maiden claiming. Will run her back up a little higher, expecting and hoping to win next out and probably lose her. Bred for turf, however no maiden claimers on turf most places. Couldn’t post here and missed the race—was off the grid in the Colorado Rockies.
Thanx for asking! Fingers crossed on Bo

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear everything looks positive. Best of Luck going forward !
Sending out a 3yo filly in the 1st @ CD tomorrow Daisy Jones Pretty good effort first out out gamed late by a big dropdown We will probably lose her but hopefully get the win Don’t like playing this way but reality in this business is what it is and no turf at this time regardless of level
Bo Cruz seems to be doing well and may return early next year maybe better than before
Hooper—what is up with that well bred turf filly that broke her maiden first out iwith a very professional finish? Maybe at gulfstream with Pletcher?
Never noticed any return……..
We have entered her in the Keeneland January sale. Been in light training at Margaux. Initial strain healed but there is a small area of scar tissue nearby that is taking more time than we thought. Bramlage has examined/treated her 3 times in the last 6 months said keep her in the sale. Options but leaning sell. Such a good debut.

That was a very impressive debut, hooper—seems that she had a nice pedigree(Euro?). Probably wasn’t a cheap acquisition . That being said, she will hopefully recoup the investment. 6+ months of vets and training isn’t cheap. Wasn’t she with Pletcher?
Good luck your way also—and anyone else trying any of this…..o
She was with Pletcher at Palm Beach Downs. Got her early training at WinStar. Bernardini out of a Blame mare. Thinking of pulling the plug on this sport in the next few months.

Disappointing fade 3rd as 2-1 fave. And claimed by an unknown to me owner and trainer. Best of luck to them—has hope for this filly. Maybe a knee problem developing….
I’m with u hooper—when Bo is gone I will probably quit again also

Steve, I don’t know Rudy but I’ve seen him at the Breeze Up Sales in Ocala. I have more fun racing overseas as I spend my children’s inheritance. Bought a yearling at Tattersalls last month and have a 2yo filly training in Dubai . Hopefully they will give me some enjoyment next year .

Bo looks and seems fine Probably no easy spots ahead and vs older now I would guess a start next month if all goes well and if it does, then it may get interesting—maybe my first trip to Fairgrounds?

Sorry to be late to my own party I don’t know Race looks reasonably tough and speed is backing up so far I am live in the p5 and p4(all button in the 5th) with 4/14-15-16/1-3-6 Hope to be a decent price 7 months off after a cracked pelvis Ran well @ FG last year Trainer and Bruno say all seems well
Hopefully we win and move up the ladder Colt is all go—-hopefully doesn’t work against him and distance seems right………

Decent 3rd to a runner that won a leg of the Canadian triple crown Bo was intimidated trying to run between horses(as he was in his first start) and had to swing out around the winner. Not fully cranked so they say…….

Equibase speed figure of 112 . Got to be happy with that 🙌
In retrospect, a pretty nice return—a good finishing 2 necks behind—and as I mentioned, Bo was not happy inside and between horses, needing to split a narrowing hole down the lane. Once he made it outside, he finished pretty well…
