This was discussed a bit somewhere, probably in the BC race threads...
Seemed like the dirt on 10/5 especially, but probably the day before and after, was really bad on the rail. Lots of big winning moves from the back. Don't recall any of them being repeated in the BC.
Anyway the first one that I have noticed that was up against that, Rising Seas who ran on the lead and faded to 4th in the 11th on 10/5, just ran back in the 7th at CD and won at 5-1 going pretty much wire to wire (was hd/hd outside of another for the first half or so) Seems worth being on the lookout for others.

You are probably right Elk. The week leading into that weekend was in the mid to high 90's,about 25 degrees above normal. That track had to be having trouble with moisture content.
