Arguably (or, not) the best race card offered this Saturday in the U.S. is at Kentucky Downs, where they have 10 races offering over $3.8 Million dollars in purse money ($130K MSW !), including the $1M Kentucky Turf Cup (GIII). My question is this: with ten turf races featuring purse money like that, how many entrants does trainer Chad Brown have? A bunch, right?
ZERO.
Explanation, please?

Brown also has zero entries in ten races today, and ten races on Sunday. What gives?

Maybe he is hanging out with Bev? Or, maybe he just figured he would give everybody else a chance?

He seldom runs there despite the big purses. As Ten Furlongs and Hooper hint, inquiring minds might ask “why is that?”

If you are not on or near the lead, seems like you have no hope from what I have seen at KD today, Morticia went to the front and never looked back in the Ladies Turf Sprint there. The effort of Totally Boss that much better in my opinion as he did set off and make a run. He’s one to note come the BC for me for sure. Enough money waste, on to bourbon and UK football for me!

Ozzy, just checked the charts from yesterday and it seems you are right. 8 of the 10 races won either wire-to-wire or by the second place presser. Appears to be hot and sunny in those parts, so assuming the same will be true today.
