The reigning Super Bowl Champs will not be in the opening game of the NFL season for the first time since 2004. C'mon Roger. Just want MadameBlum to know her Steelers will get a warm welcome from the ChowdaHeads. Inside info up here is that all of the Steeler practice tapes from this week have been acquired,Tomlin's headphone has been rendered ineffective(if it really matters),Steeler locker room has been bugged and Brady's footballs are outside of the psi limits. Hope both teams escape any season altering injuries. ObnoxiousPat

Never fear Madam! Americas team has the best RB in the NFL back in the fold and we have our eyes set on those frauds in New England! IF Belicheat somehow finds his way to the Super Bowl he will be greeted by the Dallas Cowboys! Can Lord Goodell be impeached? He, Bob Kraft and his posse of "massage" gals can be removed right?

All I have to say is "Look out Chowdaheads!".. "We're not gonna be mad this season, we're looking to get even." I'm predicting Tom Brady will have more to be concerned with Sunday night than the size of his "footballs"
Signed Sorry in advance

Funny stuff Madame. Our offensive line is under reconstruction and we don't have the Gronk blocking to hide any shortcomings. Concerned. Still not convinced Tomlin can out scheme Hoodie in the second half. This would have been a great match last night for the NFL opening game. What the hell was Goodell thinking? Hope we both come out injury free in game 1. Hooper

Hey Hoop, No worries....There is still time for Gronk to reconsider if he'd like, however he said in a recent interview he'd need a month to get ready... Anyway,I agree about Hoodieman....Isnt he due to retire soon? (Fingers crossed) And yes...let's keep everyone healthy so there are no excuses . Signed.. Anxiously awaiting game time Blum

ObnoxiousPat The reason the Packers/Bears game was the season opener was to highlight the longest standing rivalry in the NFL for the kickoff to 100th season of NFL. By the way - Go Steelers!!!!! (I've been a fan for about 45 years.)

Bears’ D is the real deal. Rodgers and co. Are rarely shut down legitimately like they were here. Bears’ O is obviously non-existent beyond wr Robinson, and qb was terrible. Maybe not the answer after all.
Go Browns!!!!!

The story so far in the NFL has to be Antonio Brown, right? Now I see he refuses to play for the Raiders! Makes the Steelers look pretty smart! Gruden has bitten of more than he can chew imo. Then again, 30 million reasons for AB to play...

Gruden says AB will play in the game Sunday. Per one of the talking heads on TV he might get as many as 15 touches - which sounds like most of the game.

If he plays on Sunday it will be with the Pats. Hooper
Edit:Though Brown is cleared to sign with any team after 4 p.m. Saturday, he's not eligible to play until Week 2 at the earliest.

Brown in New England makes perfect sense to me. Overheard... Gruden texted Belicheat...tag, you're it...lol...

It really irks me how pro players now days feel they are so superb and are above team play. They want more money, and whine about how little they do get. If they put themselves in the shoes of the classmates in High School or College, they would see how much more they are raking in than the average person. They basically won a lottery. There were hundreds more out there that could have been drafted instead.

Just to be clear,I hope AB does not come anywhere near New England. I saw the Sunday night Pats-Steelers game with him on the field as can't miss entertainment, nothing more. It is no fun watching people with problems self destruct and I hope his people help him figure it out. Hooper

Hopefully it will another 100 years before we see a game that bad. Hooper I apologize to the Packers and Bears for trashing them about Thursday's 10-3 game. Only had to wait 3 days to see a game that bad. 33-3? Hooper
