Heard this today on Sirius/XM and realized one week from today I'll be in Saratoga with family and friends in a 5 bedroom Animal House with a dozen other crazies. Grateful that my late Dad and his friends took me in the mid '60's for my first visit and blessed to see my 47th consecutive Travers. SentimentalHooper
There are places I'll remember All my life, though some have changed Some forever, not for better Some have gone, and some remain All these places had their moments With lovers and friends, I still can recall Some are dead, and some are living In my life, I've loved them all But of all these friends and lovers There is no one compares with you And these memories lose their meaning When I think of love as something new Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life, I'll love you more Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life I'll love you more

I have this LP framed and hanging in my living room. Along with 6 other LP's from the Fab Four. Also Pink Floyd, Elton John, Grand Funk, Prince, and others. The Beatles #2 album is my favorite!

IMO, one of the best Beatles portraits ever taken, and a truly great album. The Beatles lyrics at their best have always been highly personal, yet they did it a way that people can relate to. The music is complex, by far their most complex to that point, yet not discordant and in fact very melodic. A masterpiece.
Congrats on your Travers anniversary!
