r3 Easy Goer - looking for Majid to soften up Always Shining. That paves the way for Outshine. Odds to low for a win bet so will try an exacta.

Starting my main plays on Belmont Day (on what a blistering fast courses) with the Acorn. The inside and speed seem to be playing well but not really changing my strategy yet.
In the Acorn: Ce Ce for Mike McCarthy is my play. He doesn’t ship to just be a part of the big day. Queen of Bees really disappointed in the Eight Belles but perhaps the combination of the slop and not having been out in 3 months was too much. I think she is well meant for this and the tote will tell a lot.
In the Woody Stephens: Totally biased towards Hog Creek Hustle given the connections are good friends but Honest Mischief is my pick. His Keeneland win was one of the most impressive I’ve seen at that track in some time. He can sit off what I anticipate will be a quick pace and pounce and hopping Hog closes with a fury. Exacta of those two.
What a race in the Met Mile!! Could make a case for any and if Mitole wins, he’s a star but going with McKinzie over Thunder Snow who has looked incredible this week. I’ll probably play Thunder Snow more figuring he’ll be dismissed and the fact that he has been running at 1 1/4 for some time.
The Manhattan should be all Chad Brown but which one? Give me Robert Bruce on the firm going. I might use a little Channel Cat trying to steal off with Johnny V on the lead.
Belmont: Tacitus over Intrepid Heart and Bourbon War
Good luck all

I played a Pick-4 in R8-11:
R8- Looks like Much Better (2) will try to run them off their feet, with Complexity (4) and perhaps Landeskog (5) in hot pursuit. Used Honest Mischief (1) and Mind Control (9) as two stalkers who would benefit from a contested pace. Complexity has been training at the Oklahoma track in Saratoga, his May 19 work was stellar. Doesn't have to go all out in this spot if they are thinking Jim Dandy>>Travers, but if he's as good as or better than his 2yo form he could romp.
R9- Tremendous renewal of the Met Mile. Five quality early speed horses in the field, and would not be surprised by a win from any of them. Dislike Thunder Snow (4), a (one-turn) mile isn't really his game; Tale of Silence (5) seems overmatched; Pavel (8) is still eligible for n3x; Prince Lucky (9) has been avoiding this type for a reason. I think Mitole (3) and Promises Fulfilled (6) go hammer and tongs early, opening the door for Coal Front (1), McKinzie (2) and Firenze Fire (7), the last of whom loves BEL and has run a 1:33+ mile there.
R10- Couldn't single Bricks and Mortar (8) though he appears best with a clean trip. Used Qurbaan (4) who is likely best going a bit shorter trip, but might have the lead in the stretch.
R11- Must use War of Will (9) and Tacitus (10) as the two best of the Derby/Preakness group. Liked Tax (4) in the Derby, but he hated the off-going (Alvarado stood up inside the eighth pole, saved him for another day). Gets a fast track and a rider change to Irad, who can gallop him around there a few lengths off the pace, not the worst stab if he regains his AQU form. Lastly, had to use Bourbon War (5) for the rider change to "Big Money Mike" and the fact that if Bev won a Triple Crown race and I didn't use him I'd have to jump off the roof.
Pick-4: 1,4,9/1,2,7/4,8/4,5,9,10

Great call on Hog Creek Hustle Five wide though I imagine you had some nervous moments with the inquiry.

Starting to see a personal trend on these big racing weekends, play Friday and mostly spectate on Saturday. No, I didn’t make money on any of these three Fridays but overall I was in good position to profit and just missed. Mostly had no regrets afterwards and figured in the long run I’d be fine. The Saturday’s? That’s been another story.
