It appears the owner of MS has been denied any hearing etc on changing the out come earlier today. and then he came on t v to state that in ANY K D there could be at least four claims of foul....lol...says a lot for horse racing and the folks( owners / trainers / Stewart's / etc in the industry to us folks betting the races , huh !!!! Sad...this will certainly be played up by folks in California and other places...folks wil read the papers and become angry that perhaps they lost thier hard earned dollars unfairly and start betting more football / baseball/ hockey / soccer / basketball / etc games....I have a few friends who stopped betting the horses over the years and now go out and have a really good dinner / golf game/ in season go to professional games / etc and are much happier persons...they do no longer grumble but smile and say , no more am I thier sucker...( like the great comedian stated...W C Fields...lol...)... Just one of those real life happenings...

Horse racing use to be like going to a sporting event. Before internet wagering(where you have a 100 races to choose from on a daily basis (at least) ) and excess information being bombarded from every direction. It was simple. Nine races a day at your local track where there was always a crowd. You had your Daily Racing Form, maybe buy a tip sheet on the way into the track(everything was only a buck or two)...and friends you got to see when you went. It was an all day event. Now it’s just a money machine, every direction the horse player being squeezed. I fully understand anyone walking away from it. From warm and interactive, to cold and impersonal.
PS...remember when post time meant post time, and you were not being gouged from every direction. (yeah, I understand those walking away, everyday we see examples of no respect for the horse players who support the industry)

agree with all above-- + you had to be onsite to play--wps + quinella maybe 1 or 2 tris--form only simpler easier and we were all probably with better roi now we pay through the roof for everything, the food is worse and costlier than ever etc
yet we can walk away whenever we choose......
