Oh come now. Has there ever been one shred of scientific evidence for this assertion? Mr. NO POLITICS is still angry because a wind farm was built within view of his golf course in Scotland a few years ago, ergo wind power is bad....
In the same rally, he also erroneously said that when the wind doesn't blow, you would have to turn the TV off because there would be no power. And the crowd cheered. That sort of willful ignorance keeps us tied to coal and fossil fuels, the burning of which emit lots of gasses which DO cause cancer.

continuing the education around here lol--truths that you wont read in the NYT or Washed Up Post---glad that I drive a 500hp v8 2seater and shop Trader Joes and Dorothy Lane, avoid the very square Aldis and fortunately have never ridden in a Prius or Tesla---however we uic-labeled dim-witted deplorables are tolerant in whatever personal preferences y'all snowflakes choose. besides--I had a big day @ Kee yesterday now with opm to use today for the ky ny cards and whomever might survive the carnage out west!
A beautiful spring morning in the heartland!

From this, the author estimated:
wind farms killed approximately seven thousand birds in the United States in 2006
but nuclear plants killed about 327,000 and fossil-fuelled power plants 14.5 million.
In other words, for every one bird killed by a wind turbine,
nuclear and fossil fuel powered plants killed 2,118 birds.

Per the Audubon Society which should have some credibility:
"Wind turbines kill an estimated 140,000 to 328,000 birds each year in North America, "
That's a bit more than 7,000.

In Toronto , raccoons , rats, cockroaches, bed bugs, and many , many , dissatisfied humans have taken a roll in the down fall and expense of society's concerns....lol... ......as far as birds are concerned, the down town skyscrapers take a huge roll in bird deaths each day and buildings where folk place larger plants at windows where the bird runs into same...had an acquaintance whose job it was the go around, a few times a day, picking up the dead and wounded birds....the best times he did same were when there was less human traffic...laws were changed so folks in these buildings would not place plants by windows...just recently some persons ,near by my work address, once again placed plants by thier office window and again a few birds were found on the ground with broken necks or fluttering around in great pain...we had asked those there in to remove the plants and they did but new tenants moved in and once again the same problems occurred...they have removed their plants since we notified them...all those most beautifully feathered birds including woodpeckers, starlings, etc to die because of over sight...even had geese crash into the towers a no of times...sad...was just listening to cardinals and robins and others this morning when going out for a coffee...the living have my vote...

I always stay away from deep thinkers as they seem to be sales persons , who want a free ride , on tax payers roles, called political elected and want a bees in the back rooms etc ....comedians selling views are excepted, some times ,depending on content, and whom they play down, who have no solutions themselves , that do not hurt the majority...like night time hosts on t v ....aaahhhh , where are the carsons & merv's these days...not much offered any more on these type shows except Hollywood backed and media rag room gossip types hosting...sad...even jerry springer would do better with an night time show of that type...lol..
