Hoop, it's going to be a real struggle tonight against Notre Dame. UConn beat them back in December when Christyn Williams scored 28 points. She hasn't played such a dominating game since then. Napheesa Collier has picked the team up and carried it on her back over the last 8 or 9 games while Katie Lou Samuelson recovered from injuries. To get to the final four, Samuelson found her 3 point shot and had 29 points when Louisville packed the zone to contain Collier.
UConn has no bench whatsoever; if none of them get into foul trouble, you can expect at least 3 of the starters to go the full 40 minutes. If any of them get into foul trouble, it could be a real struggle. Notre Dame has much more depth.
Both teams have improved since they met in December. Can't say that I'm confident, but I'm sure they will put up one hellofa fight.

Just came from Lubbock where there is the Marsha Sharpe BLVD. If Tech wins the Men's division I could see a Marsha Sharpe and James Beard intersection!
