I was assigned to the Picnic Area in the Infield today... The view from my window... Race 6 --- 'The Avacado Queen' and her 'Lady In Waiting' arrived at my window saying this was their very first time to Santa Anita. "We don't know what we're doing." Looking at the entries they couldn't agree which horse to bet... "Who do you like?" they asked. I told them that I really liked St. Joe Bay, especially because he was a triple overlay 5/1 to 15/1. "OK. That's the one we want to play. #4 St. Joe Bay --- $25 to win!" Cashed the ticket for $420!!! I... LOVE... THIS... JOB!

Where's the "like" button in our reply section because I'd like to hit it twice. Your having way to much fun on the job. PS That's the smile Michele wanted to see in the head shots you posted. I can see a hundred roles for that guy. (happy to see you having a good time)

Have a great day Dell. I hope that the Avacado Queen and her Lady in Waiting have become fans of racing and return to your window.

Exactly Otis, I keep looking for the work part of this job - playing horsy, milling around the jockey quarters and flirting with the female customers. It's a lot more like having a government job than a real job.
