Instagrand is all the rage and if he runs back to his summer form he will be tough, but I'm looking at Much Better. His Sham, where he relinquished a 2 length lead in the stretch was on a track that was favoring closers. With Mike Smith hopping on he came back and won an optional claimer. Yes his Beyers are light, but he's been working well, Smith comes in to ride (Santa Anita is cancelled) and anything Baffert puts on the track has to be respected, plus when do you see him at a price. He won't be anything close to 10/1 but he's the play. Definitely an exacta box with Instagrand to cover.
Also think Vino Rosso gets back in the winners circle in the Stymie.
Good Luck Steve

When Baffert brings along Mike Smith from 3000 miles away, he must mean business. There is a 10 of speed in this race. I think the best play is keying McLaughlin's stayer with 2 or 3 of your others choices.

Is it that significant that Smith is coming to ride? Does he have anything else to do today?

Good point Gooch - I didn't think about that. I agree with Dell - too much speed in here. Best play from my way of thinking is to key McLaughlin's pony with 2 or 3 of your bet choices. $10 >>> 5/3-4-7, 3-4-7/5 Saver - 5-6 xacta box
