The seven players who tied picking the # 4 on all their selections will have a runoff next Sat (March 16th). Five will move on to the NHC championship...the remaining two will get $500 site credits as a consolation. (From what I understand all seven were contacted and agreed to the format)...now I guess there is backlash on this(social media) (the rules in place stated that a drawing would take place in case of a tie). Frankly, I think earning a place(actually making picks to move on) is preferable then drawing in with no handicapping involved. Odd situation...like the solution they came up with. PS (There was some talk of having those that move on, all sit at table four during the NHC )

The rules state a random drawing for the available slots. Nothing for those that lose the draw. Site is being overly generous.

I think they added the site credit as an incentive to get the seven to agree to the playoff. Keep it a handicapping challenge rather then a lottery.

i would have told them that no one can pick the same number all the way through so if someone goes with all 4's then the others would have to pick a different number if they were just picking a number

....lol...sad that handicapping has come to picking no's...not handicapping...lol...so new rules will need to be applied , like the very first to do as mentioned , regarding ANY post no in a contest , no one else may have an identical set of selections...in every area of selecting posts no's....no duplicates of any sort...the first counts the next get a warning message to change a selection any where in their posting...lol...etc...
